2

We find your date

Our engine sweeps every combination of working years automatically — you never have to guess. It enforces pre-60 account access rules and exact taxes.

3

Stress-test it

1,000 Monte Carlo scenarios and 5 historical crashes (1929 through COVID) confirm how robust your plan really is.

What's under the hood

Smart strategy sweep

Instead of asking how long to work, FuturePath tests every combination of salary, semi-retirement income, and duration — surfacing the earliest viable date for each confidence level.

Tax-accurate year by year

Federal income, capital gains, FICA, state & city taxes, NIIT, and RMDs are all computed precisely — not estimated — for every year of your projection.

Monte Carlo probability

1,000 simulations with randomized market returns show the range of outcomes. Green means ≥90% of paths succeed; amber means 80–90%; red means at risk.

Historical crash replay

Five real crashes (Great Depression through COVID) are replayed at three retirement timings each. A "battle score" ranks plans by worst-case survival across all 15 scenarios.

Couples & partner planning

Income, taxes, and assets are modeled as a single household. Each partner has independent retirement timing, Social Security, and pre-60 bridge requirements.

Saved plans & cloud sync

Snapshot any configuration as a named plan to compare scenarios side by side. Sign in to sync your plans securely across devices.

The pre-60 bridge rule

Even with $2M in a 401k, you can't typically access it before age 60 without penalty. FuturePath enforces this hard constraint — you must have enough in cash, taxable brokerage, and Roth contribution basis to cover all expenses from your retirement date to age 60. A scenario only passes when this bridge is fully funded.

Know the assumptions

For pensions, spousal SS benefits, or complex estate needs, use FuturePath as a starting point and verify with a fiduciary advisor or CPA.
